Krzysztof Gradziuk is a graduate of the Jazz Institute at the Academy of Music in Katowice. In 2003 he received a semester scholarship from the Hohschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig, Germany. In 2004 he took part in the Summer Jazz Workshop in Louisville (USA) in the class of John Riley and Steve Davis. In 2004 he also received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art.

A member of the RGG piano trio since 2001. This is one of the leading jazz groups in Poland. Gradziuk is also a full-time member of the Maciej Obara Quartet, Anna Gadt Quartet, Maciej Fortuna Trio, Daniel Popiałkiewicz Quartet and the Leszek Kułakowski Trio.

He is currently a lecturer in the percussion class in the Jazz Institute at the Academy of Music in Katowice, in the Jazz Faculty of the Fryderyk Chopin State Secondary Music School Complex in Warsaw and in the Henryk Majewski Post-Secondary Jazz School in Warsaw.

Major awards and distinctions: 1st prize at the Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa Festival – RGG (2002), 2nd prize and audience prize at the 27th International Jazz Festival in Getxo (Spain) – RGG (2003), “Keys to the Career” at the Pomeranian Jazz Autumn – RGG (2003), 2nd prize at the Krokus Jazz Festival in Jelenia Góra – RGG (2004), 3rd prize at the Krokus Jazz Festival in Jelenia Góra – Maciej Obara Trio (2005), Grand Prix at the International Jazz Group Competition “JUNIOR JAZZ 2006” in Ústí nad Labem (Czech Republic) – “In Space“ Trio (2006), 1st prize at the Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa Festival – Maciej Obara Trio (2007).

He has performed and worked together with Thomas Gustafsson, Tomasz Stańko, Antoine Roney, Avishai Cohen, Piotr Wojtasik, Jakob Dinesen, Frank Lacy, Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Kuba Stankiewicz, Maciej Sikała, Jacek Niedziela, Wojtek Niedziela, Grzegorz Nagórski, Adam Pierończyk, Bernard Maseli, Maciej Grzywacz, Piotr Lemańczyk, Jarosław Śmietana, Anna Serafińska, Dominik Wania, Paweł Tomaszewski, Robert Majewski, Wojtek Majewski, Henryk Miśkiewicz, Krzysztof Herdzin, Adam Kowalewski, Mateusz Kołakowski, the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra directed by Marek Moś and many, many more.
